About InterSol 2024
The Interdisciplinary Solutions Conference (InterSol) is an international conference dedicated to the
advancement of interdisciplinary research that addresses people’s needs in underserved areas. It was
established to tackle some of the most complicated and pressing scientific problems that lie at the
intersections of traditional disciplines. It is intended (1) to encourage innovative interdisciplinary
research, development and education that focus on solving problems in underserved areas, and (2) to
create an international research and development community around “interdisciplinary solutions”. It
meets annually in Africa and aims at bringing together technical experts and researchers from academia,
industry, and government all around the world to discuss novel research results related to Innovations
and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Underserved Areas. The meetings will offer a unique opportunity for
participants to share their experiences with peers around the world, but notably with students and
communities from the host country’s universities.
Topics
InterSol2024 will have a special focus on the
intersection of ICT, Energy, and Environment:
1- Innovative sustainable energy solutions and energy as a mean for economic development
2- ICT as an enabler for economic growth and social development in underserved areas
3- Improving sustainable environmental interventions in underserved areas
We invite interdisciplinary, innovative and unpublished contributions at the intersection(s) of the three
areas above.
Publication
All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, IO-Port, MatchSciNet, Inspec and Zentralblatt MATH.

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to:
